On Publishing Convertech International (formerly known as Convertech & e-Print)
Developing countries, particularly those in Asia, maintain vibrant printing and packaging industries. Given their safety, convenience, and functionality, the technologically advanced functional films and advanced packagings produced in Japan becoming increasingly attractive to these overseas markets. In this way, CONVERTECH International brings those technologies and products rarely seen outside of the mature markets of Japan to the rest of the world.
CONVERTECH International covers a wide range of fields, converting materials, and from printing, packaging to precision coating, printed electronics, and nanotechnology. Although the converting industry in the developed world had its start in printing and packaging, over time it has absorbed a broad range of technological fields, and now supplies components that are indispensable for electronic devices, such as smartphones, and energy devices, such as lithium-ion batteries and solar cells. In some developing countries, as well, we are beginning to see these same trends. In response, we have begun publishing this English language journal to meet the needs of converters and converting related business throughout the world that require information on the entire range of technologies and products.
CONVERTECH International focuses on the entire range of converting technologies for webs and sheets—including films, metal foils, paper, nonwoven fabrics, and fibers—that are essential to fields ranging from flexible packaging to electronics and energy devices. Moreover, through this magazine we also provide the latest on trends in printable electronics, a technology that is being researched around the world to open up new fields for revolutionary electronic devices and applications.
Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the latest in converting technology and products from Japan and around the world.
Each issue covers the latest in technology, products, and markets for each of the individual elements that compose converting technology.
