SIGN & DISPLAY SHOW : VIGteQnos showcased inkjet media which has both strong points of acrylic film and PVC film

VIGteQnos Corporation showcased new lineups of solvent inkjet media using the new film which has both strong points of acrylic film and PVC film in SIGN & DISPLAY SHOW 2009. Though it is unplasticized, it is as flexible as PVC film. The strong points of that new media are low shrinkage, drying quickness and incombustibility.
There are four types of that new media, white matte, white gloss, milk white and clear. The size is 1,300mm x 30m and the thickness is 120 µm. Each type can be used for UV ink. White matte and white gloss types will be put on sale in this month. Milk white and clear types will follow soon.

UNIONCHEMICAR CO.,LTD. showcased their wide format inkjet media "U-media" solvent series with AirlessTack in SIGN & DISPLAY SHOW 2009. AirlessTack is the adhesive layer which has small protuberances. It eliminates the problem of air pockets and improves constructivity. AirlessTack type has matte and gloss lineups. Both are composed of PVC base and acrylic adhesive. Their thickness including adhesive layer is 100 µm and weather resistance is 2 to 3 years. In addition, water-based matte synthetic paper with AirlessTack will be put on sale soon.
