Perth , Australia – December 5, 2011 – BASF has signed a long-term agreement with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) to lease laboratory and office space at the Australian Minerals Research Centre in Perth. (SDK) has completed additional production line for VGCFTM (vapor-grown carbon fiber) at Kawasaki Plant, Kanagawa Prefecture, thereby increasing total production capacity for the product from 100 t/y to 200 t/y.
