New Flexibility in Paper Converting … Innovations from bielomatik at drupa 2012

At the stand from bielomatik visitors can experience a selection of the latest paper processing machines and an RFID label production unit live. Flexibility isn't just bielomatik's drupa motto, rather it is now the focus of the entire paper and converting industry: Smaller order batches require shorter changeover times and variable use of the machinery for the production of the most varied orders.
The new cross cutter CFS 105 is a true "all-rounder" that can not only cut diverse sizes and grammages without leaving marks, but also above all the most varied materials: Carton, film and naturally also coated and uncoated paper. Also preprinted rolls can be cut according to printing register. The new development from bielomatik, which is based on decades of experience in the cross cutter area, can be integrated into current ERP and workflow management systems. With its extremely compact design in the "roll to sheets" area, it should appeal to print shops, paper mills and paper trading companies as well as the packaging industry.
The innovations in Düsseldorf also include the multi-layer laminating machine SpeedLiner T-165 for Smart labels. On the compact RFID production unit that can be modularly expanded, labels for textiles, so-called "hang tags" will be produced at the stand with which a "permanent inventory" will be simulated on-site. The reliable reject function for defective transponders, the "bad inlay removal", ensures perfect product quality. The SpeedLiner also offers a controled hot melt application in addition to a new ticket delivery unit. The new optional fold delivery enables a high degree of size flexibility.
The flagship for the fully automatic production of spiral and wire comb-bound products, the P 35-49 Plus, can also be seen in operation at the drupa. Thanks to the 2-up binding drum, a speed increased by 33 % is possible in the wire comb binding (80 instead of 60 cycles). With the new cartridge system for the punching and cutting unit as well as electronic setting of cut-off lenghts and sheet counts, the size changing times are reduced by almost the half. Flexibility with maximum efficiency is currently essential for future-oriented machine equipment.
For customers entering into professional exercise book production, bielomatik developed the P 24-90. The expandable system at a particularly attractive price/performance ratio is convincing thanks to its reliable performance and high product quality.
