BST ProMark acquires US company Accuweb Inc.

BST ProMark, a subsidiary of BST International GmbH, has acquired a 100 procent interest in Accuweb Inc., which is based in Madison. Accuweb Inc. is a leading supplier of control technology for web processing industries. This shareholding further extends the BST Group's existing technology portfolio of control technologies.
The BST Group has at the same time become the market leader for web guiding technology in the USA.

WESTLAKE, OHIO, USA, November 9, 2012: Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ: NDSN) today announced that it has purchased certain assets of Kodama Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., a licensed distributor for Nordson¡Çs EDI business in Japan for 20 years, and will draw on the organization¡Çs extensive technical and manufacturing capabilities to establish a new division to supply and support its extrusion die customers in Japan and Taiwan and provide remanufacturing services there and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Nordson Corporation acquired EDI in June of this year.

The new division, Nordson EDI Japan, will provide new-die sales to extrusion processors, web converters, and OEMs in Japan and Taiwan and carry out final manufacturing steps on new equipment to enhance die performance and accommodate local requirements. Included will be the full range of Nordson EDI flat dies, feedblocks, and related equipment for film, sheet, extrusion coating, and fluid coating.
