1. Introduction

At present, although it is said that it shows a tendency to improve business activity gently, it is still difficult to say that Japanese industries have been really reconstructed. However, specially demand for the high-end material using coating process has been increased rapidly. Lithium secondary ion battery, flat display panel, big volume multi-layers chips parts, recordable compact discs are such cases, where suppliers are quite busy to meet for market demands.
Particular cases are suppliers of special LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) parts for flat display units , they cannot satisfy the demands even in full production.
In this article, I will introduce some of interesting coating technology in thin film parts in electronic industry , such as LCD panel , multi-layer capacitors of large capacitance and high density recording media. Majority of these materials are made by KISOUHOU under ultra vacuum condition and by wet coating methods. I will explain here mainly about coating process.
