1. Introduction
Our company was established in 1980 for the purpose of manufacturing pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape, and has been working toward combination, adhesive tape making and film formation with plastic films, metal foils, fiber, powder, etc. Based on adhesive tape manufacturing technology.
Our products are mainly used for the fixing of display panels of communication equipment, communication cables, static protection, electromagnetic shielding, some lightweight building structures, etc. Generally, the performance required in these applications may be satisfied by improvement, such as polymer alloys of resins, and by processing methods, such as die extrusion, calendaring, casting, melt blowing, coating, and moreover sputtering, dipping, etc.
However, today, it is extremely difficult to add various functions, including crosslinking, conductivity, thermal conductivity, light absorption and flame resistance, to one-layer films of rubber or plastic used for information and communication equipment. On the contrary, by multi-layering functions like multicolored printing, the attributes of transparency, conductivity, etc. can be easily produced, and furthermore problems such as catalyst poisoning can be avoided, whereby it becomes easy to achieve a required performance.
Generally speaking, more and thicker application of conductivity adding agents to polyolefin base antistatic films for enhancing the antistatic conductivity function is not rational. Mixing of conductivity adding agents in film results in high-priced contents in the film volume, and if a specified conductivity is achieved, film toughness would deteriorate, and it would be hard to balance the required attributes.
