Overview
Converting Technical Institute (CTI)
Converting Technical Institute is a Japan-based publishing company specializing in the converting industry.
Founded in 1973 with the launch of Paper and Plastic, we have published technical and industry-focused content covering a wide range of converting technologies. As the industry evolved to include advanced technologies such as package printing, coating, laminating, and slitting, the magazine was renamed Convertech in 1985 — combining the words “Converting” and “Technology.”
Since then, we have continued to provide information on converting technologies, materials, equipment, and products to converters and related industries.
In 1987, we launched CMM JAPAN (Converting Machinery and Materials Exhibition), the first exhibition in Japan dedicated to the converting industry. In 2008, the exhibition was renamed Convertech JAPAN, and CONVERTECH today it continues to serve as a comprehensive exhibition platform for converting technologies, including Convertech, neo functional material, Green material, and 3DECOtech.
In 2016, we relaunched our English-language publication, CONVERTECH International (formerly CONVERTECH & e-Print).
In addition to publishing activities, we also organize technical seminars and support industry research and networking groups.
