Driving efficient PET production: Synergy at drinktec India 2026

September 24, 2026 – At drinktec India 2026, Synergy will showcase its latest PET packaging and bottling technologies, with a strong focus on helping beverage producers reduce energy consumption, optimise production costs and maintain reliable performance.

Taking place from 28–30 October at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, drinktec India is a leading B2B platform for the beverage, dairy and liquid food industries. Low Blowing Pressure targets up to 40% energy savings
A key focus for Synergy at drinktec India will be its LBP solution, engineered to reduce high-pressure air consumption during PET bottle production without compromising bottle quality, process stability or output performance.

By reducing blowing pressure to below 20 bar, Synergy’s LBP technology can deliver energy savings of up to 40%. Reduced compressor load can also contribute to lower CO₂ emissions, while improved air efficiency helps decrease operational costs and optimise cost per bottle.

The technology combines an optimised mould and base design for efficient material distribution at lower pressures with an enhanced stretch rod system for stable and repeatable preform stretching. A dedicated LBP control box enables blowing parameters to be managed and fine-tuned for optimal performance.

Together, these technologies enable producers to reduce high-pressure air requirements while maintaining consistent bottle integrity and quality.

Integrated production with Synergy Combi
Synergy will also highlight its Synergy Combi solution for water, integrating blowing, filling and capping within one compact and efficient production process.

Designed to simplify line configuration and reduce operational complexity, Synergy Combi minimises machine interfaces and optimises production footprint while supporting consistent output and reliable hygiene standards.

For water producers balancing growing production requirements with the need to control costs and maintain quality, the integrated solution provides a streamlined and scalable approach to PET production.

Flexible blowing for water and CSD
Visitors will also be able to learn more about Synergy’s rotary and linear blowing technologies, including the Synergy Rotary Blowing Machine (SR 8). Developed for PET and recycled PET applications, the SR 8 combines dependable operation with energy-efficient performance and is particularly suited to water and carbonated soft drink production.

Capable of outputs of up to 18,000 bottles per hour for 1L formats, the SR 8 can be integrated with Synergy’s wider portfolio of Combi units, labellers and palletisers to create complete and balanced packaging lines.

Synergy’s blowing portfolio also supports more complex packaging requirements through preferential heating technology, alongside specialist solutions for wide-mouth jars and handled bottles.
